I have been shooting handguns for fifty years. I've owned some of the finest 1911s made, Wilson combat, Ed Browns, Les Baers, Nighthawks, plus H&Ks, Sigs, Glocks, etc.

I own a Walther PPQ that I shoot more accurately than anything I have ever held in my hand. I am curious which gun has been most accurate, offhand, standing, no rest, of all the guns you have ever shot.
It may be a factor but I also think the PPQ has the best trigger of any gun I have shot, with it's advertised 1/10th inch reset.

Well I would consider all of my hand guns accurate at that range. I think the walther p-22 takes it because it has basically no recoil. I can put 4-5 rds (rapid fire) in a 1 inch group as the gun is just about motionless. then I need to resight as my arms can't stay extended forever. I think one may find that any .22 will come in as the most accurate at this distance because of the very low recoil.

The most accurate guns I ever shot were the Colt Navy issue 1911 & my Glock 23 at 21'. My son has my Glock now. Unfortunately I gave it to him before Wisconsin had a concealed carry law & am not cheap enough to ask for it. If he voluteers to give it back I'll jump at it. He'll be a police officer in a few months when he finishes the academy & will have his issue pistol plus his Glock 21 but maybe his future wife will get the G23 when she gets her CCL. Damn.
