Picked up a KA (1990) dated HK P7M13 9mm pistol. Upon inspection looks like it was a safe queen. Only had 1 magazine. Searched for a week, Googled, all of the gun sites looking for 1-2 additional magazines. ALL were out of stock. Also checked the lgs...no luck. I put the idea of another magazine on hold and decided to go to the range and try the HK out. I mentioned to the owner of the range I was looking for additional mags and one of his employees pulled out 2 new P7M13 magazines for sale. I bought them both and fired with all three mags. The gun and mags were flawless. The pistol does become hot with extended firing. Now to get a holster.

A great gun that will be loads of fun. Be sure to read up on the care and maintenance of the P7. The gun comes with some quirks... grip removal, piston cleaning, gas tube care, etc. Enjoy the Hk.

GREAT find! The guns themselves are infrequent, BUT, EXTRA mags??? simply unheard of. Yous scored well my friend!.
NOW, pics might help here. <tapping foot>
Psssss I have one too, and it's normal for the gun to get a little warm cuz it's a gas gun.

SWEEEEEEEEEET ! I have a P7M8 I bought in '94, and it is still a favorite of mine. It carries comfortably and is easy to conceal, above all it's other attributes which I assume you are aware of.
As to holsters, there are not a ton of options for instant gratification off the shelf. I tend to strongly prefer IWB holsters of the Milt Sparks VMII type, though I have some excellent similar designs from other makers (especially the Garrity Incognito from Garrity's Gunleather - IWB Holsters ).
I ordered a Milt Sparks in Horse Hide with Shark trim on March second of this year, and it arrived about a month ago. I say this with no reservation, it was very well worth the wait and is by far my favorite CC combination.

I have read article about it before, thinking now that would be fun to shoot! Sadly, I have not yet had the experience. Perhaps some day.
