    Best MA Legal Carry .45

Hello. I am interested in hearing from everyone on their choice for best MA Legal carry .45. I have fired a Glock and not sure that is best. I have also been recommended a Sig. My budget is around $1,000 to $1,200 and I am looking for a compact that is accurate with a good factory trigger pull.

You could check out an M&P 45 with the Apex DCAEK. I have one and I really like it.

It comes with 10 round mags, and you can get one with or without a thumb safety.

Or, for your budget you could get a real nice 1911

Thanks. I actually fired an M&P AR15 and really was impressed with it vs. cost.

Since you're in Mass, you know most everything incoming into the state has to be on the AG's Approved Roster list.
You can find a LOT of older Colts, Glocks etc within your borders, but you'll most probably pay the price for them.
S&W 1911 E3 comes to mind as a great choice.
    Ruger SR1911 too. About 670.00

The Sig 220 is in your price and a great gun,Or the Armscor 1911's even tho around $500 or less seem to be great guns,I've owned 2 and have a Compact that eats everything I feed it

Best... Such an ambiguous term. Look until you find what you think is best. For your stated budget, most options are available.

For carry I'd say glock or m&p 45c.

I liked the glock in regards to how it performed, but was not sure I like the thickness of the hand grip. Not a major factor, but want to weigh all options before committing.

Go grab a bunch. If you can shoot em even better. At that price point I would opt for a Sig or nice 1911,omvho. M&p and xd in 45 would be good as well. I bought an xd as an alternative to a glock which I do not like.

This looks like a nice sized pistol. I will definitely need to look into it. Thank you for the advise.
