After one bad one and two good ones I have become a sucker for the 1911. I wanted a compact and I wanted it to be cheaper than my Kimber. I found this baby for $475 out the door. Added some grips, polished the barrel and trigger, and it is dead nuts reliable so far (300 rounds).

Anyhow, just wanted to share some gun porn.

They can indeed be addictive. I have tried to keep mine to a respectable number, but I almost constantly hear them calling my name. When I'm in one of my LGS's, I always go to the display case that has the 1911's and look them over. Every once in a while I'll ask to look at one up close and personal. One of these days I'll end up taking another one of them home with me. Hey, at least it's a "healthy" addiction.

I understand....I have Sigs and HKs and I love them, however, there is just something that makes me wanna fire those 1911s. I fact, looking now at a C3 Sig 1911....if anyone has a report on these....good or bad, please post. Here are my favs....
