Glock 23. 13 rds. in the mag, decent "man stopping" caliber, not too big not too small. Not too heavy. Controllable recoil. Endless supply of gear designed for it. Swap barrels for .357 sig. Lots of police carry it, so it might slow them to shoot me if I have a bad guy at gunpoint when they roll up. Very versatile. Easy to disassemble and clean, easy to repair if needed. Night sights and a good holster and belt will do you fine.

I'm with you, my last handgun will be a S&W 629 Mountain Gun. It's already my favorite <G>

My S&W 6946, 9mm, 12+1, SS slide, AL medium frame, 3.5" barrel and can use S&W 15 round mags. I shoot it so good and is 1000% reliable.

Pistol? Glock 21 or 17 or 20.
Rifle? AK-47 variant.
Shotgun? Saiga 12.

My choice would be a 4" stainless Ruger Security Six in 357 Mag.
1) I would have adjustable sights and I can shoot a 4" barrel more accurately and with less recoil than a shorter barrel. It would be easier to conceal than a longer barrel.
2) Since I could only have one, I would want it to be as less likely to rust as possible.
3) The Security is a small frame, but very durable 357.
4) I could shoot almost any 38/357 revolver round through it.

Have to be a 1911 .45 ACP..............
Had one for 30 years and NOTHING feels better in my hand and is easier to hide IWB.........can do minor repairs myself.
Trouble is chosing between the CCO and the Government model.
Would add a Marvel .22 conversion unit and a Dillon Square B.
