From what i have read it seem like everyone here is a gun lover and most likely has a small or large collection of handguns. So here's the question. What would be your choice for a handgun if for whatever reason you could have only one, That's ONE, period to carry, shoot, and sleep with. Myself i would stick with my Kimber ultra tactical II as i know the gun and haven't had the opportunity to try a everthing that is out there so i will just stick with what i know.

Ruger SP101, I think. I hope you're not a politician testing the waters for a new bill.
Nope just wanted to know what everyone though was the perfect weapon
My S&W M&P 9..man I love that gun..did I say that out loud?
Hard choice but I'd have to say my XD9 service.
Having gone thru an evolution with carry guns I will stick to my current EDC SIG 226 ST - as long as I am allowed to keep my 15 and 20 round mags too
(But then hmmm - I like my BHP, M27, M28 - oh and the old Sistema too. Hmmm - and there's the SP-101 too)

If just one it would have to be my series 80 Colt Government in 38 Super/9mm.I carry it every day and now have 12,000 rounds through it.
Have Fun and Shoot Straight !!
Another vote for the sp101; If it was going to be my only handgun I would want the 3"

Two of my favorite responses:
"What is it about gun control laws that makes you feel safe?"
"For the same reason I always wear my seatbelt."
One gun? Don't give me nightmares!!! I would either stick with a 1911 or find a double action .45 LC revolver that I can conceal.
