Nice Deadguy. I checked out some of his other work as well. What was Mr. Chaimber's consensus on the different barrels? Which would he choose over the others for his future builds and why?

Joe has been using, and prefers the Kart barrel. In his experience the Kart is easier to fit and allows better accuracy. The KKM and Wilson barrels are no slouches as evidenced by the targets. The Wilson factory chamber dimensions caused a bit of an issue and he attributes that to the differences in the groupings.
He told me before the build that he suspected Kart would outperform the others. With only a tenth of an inch separating the three, I'd say either is fine. However, when you build competition bullseye guns for big name shooters, you have to use the best equipment.
Side note: he has a Longslide 38super he is about to unveil that shot .88" 10-round group at 50 yards.
Congrats on the new gun.

Picked it up earlier today and shot 264 rounds consisting of Federal, Atlanta Arms and HST ammo. Perfection. Can't say enough about this one. Here's a few at home pics.
And in its new Exodus Gunleather home

Went to that website, man, I owned a lot of cars that didn't cost that much! Great guns I am sure.

Very nice indeed. Enjoy in good health!
trying out new grips. The sharkskin grips that Joe sent on the pistol are great for range use, and even better for shredding satin suit liners and dress shirts. Here are the three grips i'm trying to decide between. I threw in the pic at the end of the stainless Colt just to see how they would look on the stainless model by comparison.
First up, Larry Davidson diamond checkered ivory G10
Next is redwood burl
Lastly we have some ironwood
and the stainless with the ironwood.

I'm torn between the Redwood and the Ironwood.
That Colt looks like perfection in the Ironwood. Maybe leave those on and go with the Redwood on the WMG?
Thanks for the distraction.![]()
