most sought after discontinued defensive handguns???
Looking to see what you all think. They can be semi auto or revolvers. The can still be in production although not as good as they used to be. For example.....
H&K P7M8
Colt Pythons
Smith &Wesson 66 3" barrel round butts.
Lets see how the list grows....

Oh Also the Wilson Combat Protector. I think that is what it was called. It was thier entry level 1911 under the CQB. Going with the 1911 style guns I truely miss the Rock River Arms 1911's they were great.

I think most of Colt's DA/SA revolvers fall into that category.

Can't forget the smith and wesson Model 15's with adjustable sights, 4" barrel, target hammer and wide trigger. And the smith and wesson 940. I guess I miss more of the old revolvers I shot when I was a kid. I would love to get a first run Kimber back when they were in oregon and really sweet rather than the hit or miss guns I have seen them become. Although in thier defense they are getting better.

I'd say the Colt Detective Special, with the H&K P7 a close second. The latter is an impressive gun, but heavy for the payload.

Well, along the the P7M8, I'd add the P7M13...
And, yeah...pretty much all of Colt's DA revolvers. I'd love to find a Diamondback for a reasonable price...and never should have let a buddy succumb to sellers remorse, and let him buy his Python back...
K-frame Smiths. I lucked out and picked up a 3" M65 a couple of years ago...dealer got one by accident in with a bunch of 4" 65's, and let me have it for the same price.
And...I'm beginning to see a LOT of people looking for 2nd gen Glock 9mm's--17's and 19's. No frills, just reliable...

All of the Smith K frames, and the Detonics 45.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.

These and Colt Python's
The Ruger MKIII 22/45 is the worst handgun in history to take apart, but is one of the funnest to shoot...
