    Oops. Change of plan.

Was all geared up to pick up an M&P9 compact this evening at a shop in the city, and then I heard that the local guy here is closing his doors and retiring soon. I've bought a lot of guns from this small town dealer, as his prices are excellent and I prefer doing business with a local (but nobody can touch the Smith prices at the store in the city.) So I bypassed the original plan and went to see my guy. Turns out that instead of the Smith, I ordered a Gen 4 Glock 31. I've wanted one for awhile (love the 357 SIG), and figured I'd better buy one more from my local dealer who also is a good guy. I've surely done my part to see to it that he and his wife won't starve.

So much for getting a compact. I think I can deal with it. Downside is another 125 bucks for some Trijicon HDs and another 140 and five months for a Sparks.

Love the 357sig round too. Have the 31,32, and 33. The 32 was the first 357sig and first Glock I ever owned.

    +1 for supporting the local.

I have the same problem, but I know if I bring home another Glock, I will not be disappointed.
Congrats on the 31. Mine is a 3rd Gen OD Green.

I carry my 2nd Gen Glock 17 9mm a lot....but nothing is as comforting as 15+1 of screaming 147gr .357SIGs on your belt.

The Glock 31 is a laser beam of a shooter. Congrats.
I always carry two guns daily.

357 Glock and Milt Sparks? You have excellent taste in firearms, caliber selection and gun leather!

I'd be saving for a Gen 4 G31, but like the G32, it's a bit big for me to carry these
    days with my bad back.

I can't wait to see your pics.
