I have wanted one ever since they hit the market. Maybe some day. Enjoy it and stay safe

This S&W was $800 New in Box, low side - but I see them occasionally on Gunbroker for $850 - $900 new. Good gun to keep looking for in a good price, yes it looks great and operates great, but this is the age of little, light weight CCW guns, that plus the need for moonclips probably makes a gun like this less sought after than a lot. And that means finding bargains. (Except Colt Pythons of course - which now cost more than your house. I got one test-fired only that had been in to have a loose screw internally replaced at Gander Mtn. Colt took a long time sending the original part, and the owner, sick of waiting, sold it to Gander for next to nothing. A FOOL! They got the screw, put in and sold it for $499. That was 4 1/2 years ago. I saw it 30 min after it had been put out. Never did a credit card fly out of a wallet faster than mine.)
(The light spot on grip is in the photo, not the grip itself.) I don't Carry this much, Nickle is a finish, thin, can't polish scratches out well.

I have a helper who walks behind me with the gun on a silver tray - when a BG appears, I say quietly: "Now Charles" and he takes it off the tray and from behind places gun my waiting hand. I say "Thank you Charles" And then take aim at the BG.

Seriously, what I do to even the weight, is have the suspender near the gun tighter than the one on the other shoulder. That evens out weight at the waist level. On my shoulders, my rt shoulder has a bit more weight on it therefore than the left but that doesn't bother me.

Carrying a big gun at least some of the time is not hard if it's something one wants to do.

    And I'm not a big guy. I'm 65 yrs old, 5'10" 140lbs.
