What do you think of Sig Sauer?

I have a p290 that used to be my EDC until I replaced it with an XDs. It recently started firing on roughly one out of three trigger pulls. I'm sending it back to Sig. How well and quickly they fix it will determine my lasting impression of the brand.

I think Sig is awesome, I own 2. A P229 SCT and a P239 SAS Gen II. Thousands of rounds through both and have never had one single malfunction.

I agree. In south Texas a SIG is worthless lol as the are just too heavy and fat.

You could say I'm a fan. Yep, one of those guns that are "too heavy, too fat, too bulky" for some people is my edc.

Excellent guns love both of mine..most accurate small gun I own..easy to conceal, and come with night sights

I miss my Sigs. I really miss my P228. They are great guns and they are accurate. They are heavy but the weight soaks up most of the recoil, especially in 9mm. I can't recommend them enough.

Looking at getting a .45 P250, but not sure on compact or subcompact. Would be for carry and HD. Subcompact is about the same height as my current carry, SR9c, so leaning towards that.

P239 & P229....Awesome Pistols......accurate and easy to shoot! Can't go wrong with a Sig as long as you have a good holster and belt to handle the weight!

I'm only about 120 mile snorth of you so the heat here isn't much different and I carry the 229 or the 220 in the heat. It's all a matte of what you want to do.

I carry a P250 compact. It's smaller than a G17. It's got a poly grip frame and stainless slide. And it weighs about the same as any Glock, or HK out there, less than any steel frame Beretta. I don't have a problem hiding it under a t-shirt.

2022 here, and a 229 on the way.
I have to watch my finances, but these weapons are trusted by thousands, so, it's good enough for me.
The 2022 for example is the weapon of choice for the GIGN. THey are one of the world's top anti-terror units.
If it's good enough for them, it should be sufficient for Ogie from Muskogee as a concealed carry weapon.
And for around $400, it's one of the best bangs for the buck you can find. And... Drumroll... It's sexy. Not like one of those ugly, overrated Glock bricks. Geez, they're so ugly, you could hang one over your bedroom door to banish evil spirits with it.
