You already listed it for $800. It really doesn't matter if it was too low. It would be a pretty shady deal to turn around and decide that your original offer was no longer valid if there's an interested buyer.

Echo I don't change my prices. Nothing shady about me. Just looking for opinions.

I think you priced it perfect for a quick sale, you may have been able to list it higher but at a value price it appeals to many more buyers not just those looking for that specific type of pistol.

I wouldn't say you cheated yourself. You priced it to sell quickly. Like some have stated, you probably could squeeze another $100-200 out of it but would take you longer to sell. I think your price is fair.

I'll vouch that kimberpacking is a stand up guy. I'm the prospective buyer and KP has been a pleasure to deal with on the phone. Even though he priced it for a quick sale he is giving me a week to pick up and pay for the gun. This he did not have to due but he went out of his way to get the gun in somebody's hands that really wanted it.

I have a 9mm .40 cal .357 mag and a 1911 was always on my mind. I jumped at the opportunity to pick the gun up at $800. I can't wait to shoot it. Thanks again to kimberpacking.

I will give you $801.00 for it

I think you're asking a very fair price. Both you and the buyer are doing ok. To make sure, go to Gunbroker or another gun auction site (not gunsamerica cuz prices are more erronious) and see whatpeople are paying. You can call a few gun shops and see what they may be selling one (or similar one) for.

You could have gotten maybe $150 more for it in todays pricing.

No, you are not giving it away.

If I ran across a deal like that, I would not even bother to bargain. Sometimes you got to know when the deal it good.

I'm still trying to understand the "pricing for this economy" thing

WalMart, the grocery stores, and every restaurant I pass are always busy on the weekends. They don't seem to be hurting during the week, either.

There is evidently still plenty of disposable income out there.
