Special occasion carry weapon: Webley Mk IV Revolver

Anyone know a good place I could get an OWB holster for one of these relics? The piece is for a halloween getup; I figure if I'm gonna be armed, it might as well fit the costume. I'm still trying to find one locally, they're rather rare. If I can't find one by the 31st, no big deal. Thanks for any information/suggestions. :)

I don't know where to find one but if you want to have the same type of setup for next year I would suggest that you have a custom holster made for it.

Good luck in finding something that may fit it for this year

    Webley Holster

Don't know what type of costume you have in mind, but Western Stage Props carries Indiana Jones props. Of particular interest here might be the hoslter.

    http://www.westernstageprops.com/miv...egory_Code=IJC

I tried to include the whole link to the page with all the Indy stuff, but in case I bolo-ed it, www. westernstageprops.com and then click on Whips and Accessories and then on the Indiana Jones Collection. I last purchased from them about two years ago and service, etc was really top-notch. Hope this helps.

Great looking holster for a good price in that ebay clip. You should jump on that. -------

damm imho that is unique enough a gun to almost qualify as a bbq gun no matter the condition ... after all a bbq gun is to incite talk about your choice isnt it ?

Did you look at International Military Antiques?
They're the ones that run those cartoonish ads in GunList and the like, and have a lot of British Empire stuff. I've got a thing or two from them, and they did well.

Neat gun. I've never had one, but you never know. I have some British rifles, and get the Webley bug now and then.

I was thinking: I see those British canvas holsters for HiPowers around some. Does anyone know if they were meant to be used with the Webley also?
I don't know, but it could be the case. If so, they are cheap and plentiful (or were the last I knew).

Well I certainly can't knock your taste in guns, although I will take my Enfield MkVI over the MkIV.
