    +1. I know I would have to go running back to my gunsmith to try to salvage the project, kind of like what Rob Pincus had to do with his "G26L."

    That would be my ideal EDC. I like the shorter grip on the M&P compact as i'm in CA and limited to a 10 round magazine, but would like the full size barrel. Could a crimson trace backstrap still fit that? PM to you.

    BEC has worked on a couple of my M&Ps and a Glock for me. He's great to deal with and does excellent work.
