Thumper! Your becoming one of us! Love the 23, but carry the 30 as a backup (backup?). The only reason the 23 is primary is higher mag capacity, and I did drop in a 357 Sig barrel, so it is a little faster than the .40. Welcome to the Dark Plastic Side...

    I used to own an HK, now I own a Glock (first a G23, now a G30 w/ G21 mags as reload).

Rent a G30 before you get the G23, you may end up saving some money - because you'll eventually switch.

Glocks are great pistols. The G23 was my first Glock, which of course I still have. I acquired a G27 a few years later down the road. If you like to carry and shoot .40S&W, the G23 and the G27 are some of the best guns out there. Yep, welcome to the Dark Side!

Forget the glocks, sell the sig, and buy a 1911. You'll never be tempted by the dark side again . If you are tempted and fail after you have a real piece of work, then you must be a HEATHEN!

That's how I knew I was truely in trouble... I just bought a Springfield Champion!

The Stainless Steel Sig P226R was just a little heavy for CCW but I have a P229 I will never sell!
