The takedown pin on my LCP broke a while back. I had heard of others having the same problem, and sending it back to Ruger for repair. I decided that I would do it myself. It's actually a very easy procedure. Thought I'd post the video as a how-to guide for others with the same issue. Enjoy.
Thanks for posting. Had the exact same thing happen to my wife's LCP. Hers was an early one, and we did send it back to Ruger - as a courtesy, they replaced a bunch of parts while the gun was there. Good to know you can pop that pin out easily enough on your own if necessary. :thumbsup:
Fix? Toss LCP and replace with Kahr PM380 or PM9. :tongue:
