I have a Five-seveN and its a great gun. The 5.7x28mm is NOTHING like a .22mag, competley different round. The gun is sighted in using SS195LF and alot of people shoot the SS197 which shoots a little lower. I have the adjustable sights so thats not a problem. As far as knocking steel plates over, well I'm glad people are not made of steel. I have several rounds including some hot ammo from a company named Elite Ammunition which is what I load when carrying or night stand duty. TBH ammo right now is pretty hard to come by but that should change soon.
I carry a .357mag because no one bickers about the .357mag being "enough".
