    Sig P238

Like others on this thread I also use a Sig P238 for pocket carry. I used to use a S&W 642 revolver for this, but the Sig is smaller, flatter and more concealable, as shown in the photo.

+1 on S&W Bodyguard 380. Reliable, accurate, good price and fits nicely in the pocket.

I've gotta ask, Pilgrim - Is your avatar photoshopped, or did you really find those accessories for your NAA? Is that a scope, or a laser?

    My pocket guns are either a S&W Bodyguard .380 or a J-frame.

I pocket carry my LCR every day except for the rare occassion where my attire won't accomodate and then my LCP gets the nod.

I love my LCP still but prefer my LCR.

I have shot a DB9 once and it wasn't unmanageable but it has some harsh recoil. Plus they have reliability issues. The range worker who let me try his out had a kaboom in his and it is completely out of commission. I liked the DB9 when I shot it but did have 2 FTF out of 50 shots and I have reservations about trusting it for daily carry.

The Kahr CM9 will be above your price range but it's a far better gun than those you have listed. I have a PM9 and pocket carry it with me all the time, very accurate and fairly comfortable to shoot.

LCP..don't feel it in my front pocket. With FTX on board, I'm feeling pretty secure.

My tailor only charges $10 to deepen a pocket. For the average price of a new gun, you can have 30-50 pairs of pants done. And from hard, personal experience, I can tell you that a snubbie is more reliable than any 9mm that is small enough to easily fit in your pocket. And nothing says you need to have the tailoring all done at once.

If you don't want to do the mod (which you may not need on every single pair of pants you own) then look no further than the LCP. It will fit in any men's pocket. 7 rounds of .380 ain't nothing to sneeze at.

Sorry if you don't like my suggestion, but it worked for me. Then again, I don't own as many pants as my wife...

The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

I don't own it, I just think it looks cool. ;)

They are both out of you price range but I'd recommend either a Sig P938 9mm or a Springfield XD-S 45ACP.

    Pocket carry gun recommendations.

Another vote for Ruger LCP. I carry it when I can't carry my xds.
