    Pocket carry gun recommendations.

Looking for suggestions and opinions on different pocket carry options. My current carry line-up consists of a G19 and a Ruger LCR, the LCR is almost pocketable with the boot grip installed but not really ideal for pocket carry.

I'm looking for any other suggestions than what I have already come up with, .380 or 9mm, preferably, would like opinions of people who currently or have owned these guns, would also like to keep the real-world price of the gun under $350 after tax.

What I am currently looking at are:

    Kel-Tec P3AT
    Ruger LCP
    I.O. Hellcat II
    Diamondback DB9

Would really appreciate other suggestions, size is one of my biggest limiting factors. I have tried guns like the PF9 and LC9 before and found they were just too big to use as a pocket gun.

I have the Bodyguard 380 and love it. If I recall, I picked it up for around your budget. The trigger pull is kinda heavy, but it's extremely accurate and even has the built in laser.

I will add the Bodyguard to the list to go take a look at. I've handled one before, but never tried the trigger. From what I understand it's one of the heaviest triggers on a pocket 380.

Have a tailor deepen your pocket, and use your LCR. Done.

My daily pocket carry is a Ruger LC9 with Lazer Lite sight.
It fits in my front pants pocket behind my wallet and I feel naked without it.

I have carried a Colt 380 Government Pocket Lite. (Think a shrunk down 1911)
But since it's not a DOA I replaced it with the Ruger 9 mm.
I have other handguns for daily carry but the LC9 is my avorite when I don't have a jacket to hide the 40 mm S&W I usually carry in a sob, left hand draw holster I have.

I like the LC9 because it has a manual safety, but is a DOA so I am comfortable keeping one in the pipe at all times.
I've practiced drawing it out and releasing the safety before I put my finger in the bang hole.
It's small enough I can conceal it fairly well with my big hand, but yet have enough firepower to retire a couple o BaD Guys if I need to.

The Laser is nice because it's on the side of the weapon and doen't make any big bulges in the outline.
And with it I can draw funny faces on the paper targets at the range. That's always fun!
But I like the laser because I can conceal it with my trigger finger so as not to give away my position until I'm ready to put my on the trigger.

The LC9 is a great Church Gun! Easy to conceal with my suit on.

I think the LCR is slightly larger than the SW442/642 so maybe that will work. Love my 442. ALWAYS carry it, even at home in gym shorts IWB, OWB, pocket, light and easy.

yeah, it would be much more economical to have the pockets deepened on nearly 20 pairs of shorts and pants, and every other pair of shorts and pants I buy in the future, than just buy a gun that will easily fit in a front pocket...

    Pocket carry gun recommendations.

I have a Sig P238 for pocket carry in a Talon Wallet Holster. Accurate to 25 yards with +P, controlled pairs on a steel plate.

Read up on the DB9 on their own website before deciding on it. You might get a good one.

I pocket carry my 642 or LCP. Both work great.

The DB9 would be my choice, of the ones you mentioned. However I wouldn't count out the LCR. I have one, and it carries quite well in my pocket.

Do you have any problems with the rubber grips being too wide and/or tacky?

What non-shooter are YOU planning on taking to the range?
