Did it again very custom 1911

Started as my beater Taurus range gun, milled checkering off front strap, did a more aggressive lowered and flared ejection port. Removed Taurus billboards of both sides, lowered the finger groove on the frame installed Wilson hammer and coated frame in gloss cerakote white and the slide in satin aluminum .... Gun looks great could not be happier!!!! Also sprayed my xd 40 white

You can take the bull off the gun, but you can't get the bull out of the gun(jk).
    Looks better now anyway.

It looks better than the usual Tauri but why remove the front strap checkering?

When I read the thread title "very custom 1911" I had visions of, um,...oh, never mind.

Taurus checkering is very shoty looking it was more of a challenge to test my ability I do a lot of dura coat and cerakote for people, but 1911 pistols are my true passion! I'm going to start offering the refinish service on the web and plan on obtaining my ffl ASAP

I like it! LOL at the Taurus bashers. Can't tell you how many times I've out shot people with Glocks, Smith's etc only to see the look on their face after finding out I was shooting a 24/7 Pro. A gun that runs, is a gun that runs! Good job.
