    1911 back from surgery

It is back from Surgery. It is a flat black cerakote on the entire slide. Has a national Match trigger I think a chip mccormick. Gun Smith reworked the sear polished all angles and surfaces. Total trigger pull is 3.25 lbs pull down from a 6 pound pull. last but not least Meprolight Tru Glo Night sights. Pictures will follow later this evening.

    Exclamation

Total trigger pull is 3.25 lbs pull down from a 6 pound pull.
The accepted industry standard is 4-4.5# on a carry gun, especially on a 1911. I'd suggest you have your gunsmith adjust the spring pressure.

goldshellback: Not sure what you're making of the quote re. CC people committing crimes, but the latest stats show that CC folks commit FAR LESS crimes than CC people.!! The vast majority of people who carry are patriotic, law abiding citizens and make the streets safer for all of us!

That is a very nice pistol. Be interested to hear how it shoots after you take a couple of trips to the range.

Assuming you are right handed, I really like the fact that it doesn't have an ambi safety. For right handers, the ambi safety is always available to be bumped. My carry guns bump into things now and then. I'd hate to be carrying cocked and unlocked and not know it.

It looks like one of those pistols that when you shoot it, you'd be thinking, I gotta get me one of these, if you didn't already own it.
