    Whats A Matter Wit Me

I had a real nice colt defender at one time and like a fool I sold it.I now have a keltec p11 and a taurus pt145 that shoots great, its the same size as my defender was and holds 4 more rounds and is a great ccw gun,BUT,I find myself still wanting to get another 1911,a small compact one like the dan wesson bobtail for $850 plus shipping. My wife says whats the matter with your taurus, and I say nothing,I just can't explain it.Am I sick or something? help sj

Yes, you DO need serious help. Help yourself to that DW Bobtail Immediately if not sooner.

There's nothing wrong with you, it's just that you're not sure that the ones that you have is the right one for you.

I've been through that several, several times. My pistol of choice that took only 5 times of going back to it, and in between purchasing 20 or so different pistols in different calibers before recongizing that the BHP in 9mm is the one.

There is that question that we all have on whether this is the right one, are we sure that we want to make a commitment to death do we part (remember that one?).

Some of us it takes a while before we're sure, so enjoy the search. So just tell your wife that your just being as selective about your pistol as you were in choosing her.

You're perfectly sane, the others are crazy

You are clearly a sane man if you want a Dan Wesson bobtail Commander. The others who question you are the crazy people.

The Wesson bobtail Commander is to the Taurus PT145 as the Porsche is to the Ford Taurus.

This disease has no cure. However there are things that will lessen the discomfort, such as has been previously stated, buy one. It's an ailment that afficts many.

The ones that came before I found have never been the problem. It those that happen afterwards that cause you all the pain.

I would have to say that I completely agree. If you can afford it, buy it. I was thinking today that I would like a Glock (haven't decided the calibar; probably 45 or 40) and a 1911 of some sort.
