Grip Chop By Business End Customs
Not so long ago, I heard about Lou Biondo's grip services on this board. Custom 1911-Glock- M&P's I was wanting to get the grip on My Glock 17 chopped down to a 19. I contacted him, and he assured me he would do the work with a 2-week turnaround time. I shipped the frame off to him and sure enough, he had it done and back to me in two weeks. The work, fit and finish are superb, and I could not be more pleased.

Here is a pic of the frankenholster I carry it in, part Shark-Tac, part Cross Breed, and part Dremel. I will be receiving another holster for the Glock shortly, which I will also post.

Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.

Right back at you. I suspect your wait times will be increasing considerably once the word spreads, so I am glad I got mine done early.

Looks like good work. Might be due for a carry trigger job on my M&P in the near future :) maybe Cerakote on the slide or frame as well.

Lou has worked on two of my M&Ps and a Glock 23 for me. He does great work and is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend him.

The whole transaction with him went flawlessly. I can be a bit of a PITA when dealing with vendors, and Lou patiently answered all my questions and emails. Combine that with top-notch work, quick turnaround, and decent prices, and there isn't anything to not like.

I took my Springfield XDM 9mm 3.8 and chopped it too a compact grip length and stippled it while I was at it. I love it but some can't get over the fact that they say it's ruined the re-sale of the gun.
I don't ever plan on even trying to sell the gun but I do plan on carry for protection. Seeing as I would have lost almost $200 trying to trade it on for virtually the same pistol I thought that would be a waste. So
I did the chop and couldn't be happier. It made the pistol much, much easier to conceal. Grip length has everything to do with concealing a pistol.

From where I am, this particular modification increases the value of the gun. +1 on ease of concealment.

Hey Mike, a couple questions:
Who mounted the red dot? Did Lou do that?
How much did the grip chop cost you?
Thanks!
