Glock is the standard gun I compare all other guns to nowadays. I can't think of another modern gun that is as influential on the gun industry as the Glock is. I usually carry my Glock 19 as I am a fan of the 9mm rather than the .40 S&W but it is the same size. The FBI uses the Glock 23 as the issue gun along with the Glock 22, and I do believe they tested it extensively.

Glocks are very reliable guns. I am not a Glock fan, but they are well made guns.

    It'll do fine. As I am not a huge 40 fan, I carry a 19 or a 32, both of which are the same gun as the 23. The 19 is a 9, the 32 is a 357 SIG.

Lots of guys like the 23.

And therein lies another benefit of the G23, with just a barrel swap it can fire the .357 Sig. With a conversion barrel and G19 mags it can also fire the 9mm, but to be completely reliable you may need to switch to a 9mm ejector and extractor as well.

    Very reliable

I've had the Glock 23 below for about 15 years and have put maybe 3000 rounds through it without any problems at all. It is one of the most reliable guns I have. I replaced the night sights and the barrel, and it has been quite accurate for me.
