I hear you on the no loaded guns in the store. But if you know what you are looking for and price there are buys out there. Pays to research.
Thats a great looking pistol. 10MM is the only caliber that I don't own. ( yet )
Very nice Colts, I'd like to have either, better yet, both

very nice. I've always liked the Delta Elite. Enjoy!
Took her to the range today for a test drive. Good thing it came with two mags. One mag performed flawlessly but the other one was just a single shot mag, it would feed and chamber the first round but the next round would nose dive. Tried it several times with the same result, took it to the store gunsmith who tried unsuccessfully to get it to work. Then talked to the store manager and since they did not have any spare mags he will order me a new one. Overall I do like the 10MM seems to be slightly less recoil compared to the 45ACP but that may just be the difference between 180 vs. 230gr bullets.

Very interesting! It's not certain that very many would agree with you but your perception of recoil is just as reasonable as the next guy's. Most seem to think the 10mm recoils quite smartly. The only 10mm handgun I've ever fired was a Glock 20. I'm way more familiar with the 1911 so would really love to fire a 10mm version.

I thought you guys were funnin' me on this, as the pics he has posted in the very first post are two from the second post from msgt/ret, then I went and realized you edited the OP pics with the correct ones.
No fair, I got gyped from seeing the pics of the .45!
Sure is a great loking firearm.
Glad it runs well with the one mag, and they are getting you another.

Oh well... I like .38 Super too and intend to have a Colt Government Model so chamberd one of these days.
