Idiot!!!! At gun store
Ok so I was pillaging my local big-r's gun counter for a m&p or a Glock for my brother for Christmas. I was approached by a middle aged man who told me his whole life story, and how he knows everything there is to know about guns.... I was holding a beautiful m&p 45 compact and he informered me " done dare buy that they have a contract with toy companies to make there frame and terrorist build there barrels" I thought he was joking and I laughed. He got heated mad and again told me he knew everything! I was speechless for the first time in my life had nothing to say..... Now I find it funny so I guess ill take a few of my terrorist/toy guns and have some fun at the range!

I just try to ignore and avoid those self-proclaimed experts.

I have an M&P 45c... now I feel guilty for supporting terrorists.

Thread is all the more funny with "there" instead of "their".

Well, it's autumn, the nuts are falling from the trees. Scary to meet this guy at the gun counter, hope he was just looking. Big R is my fav store.

There's one in every store (every now and then). The last one that I ran into was very loudly telling his buddies everyhting he knew about the crate of surplus Moisin-Nagants on the floor of the shop. After his 1.5 second speech was done, he started telling his buddies everything he thought he knew about the crate of surplus Moisin-Nagants on the floor. That speech lasted for almost five minutes.

Well, since Mattel made all the M-16s, one can only wonder who makes S&Ws.

Having a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, I respect any company that can make toys that can stand up to their abuse. They are way harder on toys than I ever was with my army-issue M-16 and certainly than I am with my own personal guns.

On the rare occasions when I have run into people who are "altered" like this guy,I just walk away.
Any conversation with them is pointless.

As long as we're getting picky (I don't think "there" and "their" is really that picky), I think we should distinguish between idiots and crazy people. I have at least one brother-in-law who is an idiot, but none that are too crazy. An idiot would be a person who asks which end of the barrel does the buillet come out of? A crazy person would explain the Martian influence on production.
BTW, I also have an M&P 45C; I looked in the box, and sure enough, there's a certificate that says, "Not made by terrorists."

I have run into several my self, and it is not just the customers who are sometimes flaky. I have actually walked away from the counter person who was helping me select a BUG, who just happened to also be the owner, and left the shop because of his brash, no it all attitude and insulting comments. It has been two years and I have never again set foot in his shop.
The Fish I am sure you have heard of this shop, it is right next door to the Jupiter Ale House, that is if he is still in business.
