    Can't pull the trigger...

Okay, im looking for a new EDC. I am having trouble deciding between the Glock 26 and the XDs. Academy sports has them both for the same price so that's not an issue. I've shot both, like both. I guess I could buy both but the woman wouldn't be too happy lol. I carry IWB most of the time. The glock is a bit fatter as you know. Any info to push me either way? Lol thanks in advance!!

For the same price I would go Glock 26 all day long.

I'd go for the Glock 26 personally...but then again I may be biased since I own one lol. G26 holds more rounds and can use larger (15 and 17 round) magazines as spares while carrying or at the range. My G26 is a great shooter.

Have both, carry Glock 26. Higher capacity, easier follow up shots, cheaper ammo...all the right reasons. :):):)

In addition to the above replies, the XDs is still too new. Take it from my personal experience - don't buy a new model gun from ANY maker the first year or so after it comes onto the market. There are always bugs to be worked out. Reading lots of reports of light primer strikes with the XDs for now. Stick with the Glock 26.

Sounds like the camp is solidly in Glock's favor. I'll add my vote in that direction. The XD line hasn't won me over.

I guess i'll go against the grain

XD. Feels thinner, feels better to me. I feel that the XD points more naturally (for me anyway) Both are absolutely reliable. I also like the striker indicator on the XD.

That said.. Ehhh HEMM (FN!) COUGH... (sorry, had to be "that guy")

I like the Glock 26 quite a bit....I don't carry one, but I got one for my wife....and I'd borrow it if the situation arose. I agree with the XD line being too new for me - although it could be said that the Gen 4 Glocks are very new as well. Either way - I'd choose the Glock over the XD.

I could not agree more. I am not a big glock fan but the G26 changed my position quiet a lot...

    Me, I'd get a Glock 19.

There as easy to conceal as a 26 and ride better with the slightly longer barrel. Plus the 19 holds more rounds.

I have both and prefer the 19.
