Tell me about it. I sold a taurus pt-145 and a XD45 svc to get these and I'm already thinking about what 5" lightweight 1911 to get....or try to build.

Yep, and since I got it in this morning and have done a good cleaning and once over I like it a lot so far. The holster that I have for an xdsc that also fit the taurus pt-145 (both 3") is too big because this one is thinner and pretty much smaller all over except barrel length so it's more comfortable and easier to conceal. I think this one is going to be one that I hand down to someone when I kickover. I hadn't field stripped a 1911 for many years, but it all came back to me.:)
