That's a damn good question. Can you have too many? I don't think so. When STTS, you might have to help arm some buddies that didn't have the resources or forethought that you did. When I was married I avoided these questions by having a large gun safe, that only I had the combination to. :) Be safe.

Good point, some friends of mine always say if it hits the fan their heading here.... I enjoy the rifle always have.
Like the safe idea, I have a room that I myself have the only key for and since its tied into my alarm system I get notified if anyone opens the door :)

Enough is hard to quantify. I don't think it's possible - but there is probably a perfect ratio of rifle/magazines/ammo/spare parts/maintenance items to strive for. Having an extra to loan a friend in need, or to pass on to children or in-laws - so many reasons why "one more" is reasonable.

She's right: 11 is too many. Nine's the proper number. Unload a couple and enjoy the "extra" funds.

If we got to comparing shoes I'd need 2 or 3 hundred more rifles, I currently own 26 1911 pistols and jumped off that wagon and back into ar wagon to avoid conflict lol
Just make sure they are look very similar, and never have all of them out in view at the same time.
