SD40 was my first pistol. I quickly migrated to better handguns as my knowledge and training came up to par. For another $75 you can get the M&P series and they are 10 times better than the SD series. Or just get an old reliable Glock. Nothing wrong with it, but with the M&P guns in the sub $420 range, why not just get one of them instead?
As Benjamin Franklin left the hall in Philadelphia, he was asked, “What kind of government have you given us, Dr. Franklin?” He replied: “A republic, if you can keep it.”

I bought a SD9VE yesterday and stand by my first post in this thread. It is definitely not a redesigned Sigma. It is its own design.
