Flame on boys
Can this be? In the last 2 months I have taken the chance on 2 used Taurus handguns. The first was a C series TCP for $175. I have put 250 trouble free rounds through it and it is now my front pocket, around the house gun.
I then found a LNIB M605 357 snubbie. I gave $250 for it and went to the range (after a clean and lube) It ate up 100 rounds of 38 special and 100 of 357 magnum. It is very accurate and the recoil is very manageable. I had been looking for a winter carry gun and this one now resides on my hip in an IWB cross draw holster I had made for my Colt Agent. I carry it strong side appendix usually under a sweatshirt.
I now own 4 Taurus handguns. The only problem I have had with any of them was a broken extractor on my PT1911. I had been planning on replacing the extractor and some other parts with their Wilson Combat counterparts anyways.

Can't be angry that you have had luck with trouble free guns, regardless of the manufacturer!

Taurus are just (in my experience) too hit or miss. I have had a couple of good ones and a couple of not-so-good ones. Glad they are working out for you.

If it works for you have at it. I owned a Taurus once , probably never will again.

I've been burned by Taurus twice, but I'm very happy that yours work as advertised. That's the most important thing.

I've owned several Taurus guns over the years. Still have 2 of them. Out of all the ones I've owned, only had 1 bad one. I really liked it, but they couldn't seem to fix it, do I dumped it. Glad yours are working out for you.

Seems they're either really good or really bad. My PT709 has been superb. Over 2,000 flawless rounds and still going. I never plan to part with it. I bought a PT845 and had no such luck. If got a ticket to ride in short order (and I broke even on it). Here's to years of good service.

I too have been burned by two taurus pistols (TCP's). If you ask for my opinion on taurus, I'll gladly give it to you. But you didn't, enjoy your guns.
I learned to stick with brands that get almost all postitive reviews.
