Do any of you have the LCR-XS model (38 +p with XS Standard Dot Tritium front sight? I was wondering if the bigger front sight caused any "snagging" problem when pocket carrying.
If you got the standard front sight, did you change it out to something else?

I changed out the standard sight on my 357 model for an XS sight. I don't pocket carry the LCR but I don't see the XS as any more prone to snagging than the standard sight.

I carry my LCR 357 all the time, in a remora AIWB, or with a clip draw in same place. I am considering the XS sight I think it would really help to get fast sight picture. The other carry gun I am considering is a Glock in 357 sig I like the 357 125gr combination in the 357 LCR, the Glock 33 in 357 sig with 125 grain bullets would be more power and 10 round capacity in a package that is not any bigger.

Me me I have the LCR-XS ! No snagging problem whatsoever using the Galco
pocket holster that I originally bought for the S&W 642.
Was at the range and several people next to me had new LCRs with the standard
sights, complaining like crazy. I said here try mine ... HEY, YOU CAN SEE THE FRONT
SIGHT ! And that my friends is the key to seeing what you're aiming at.

The XS sight is a worthwhile addition to the LCR. If you are installing it yourself a vice is a must. The pin can be stubborn both removing the old and installing the new and the roll pin punch that they send with the sight is inadequate for the task. I ended up scrapping the thing and using one of my own punches.

Just got my Ruger LCR .38. Bought it for my wife for home defense.
Wow....it is a nice looking, good feeling revolver.

Re: RUGER LCR Club
I picked one up last Wednesday in .38. I'm a semiauto guy and I'm also fairly new to concealed carry. After spending a month or so carrying I decided I wanted something more pocket friendly so I would actually carry it, as iwb carry was really only comfy to me if i was upright (shopping etc) and so I went against my urge to get a Shield (I still want one however). So far I LOVE it though. Its so light, and with a pocket holster it slips right into my jeans or jacket. In my jeans you can tell I have something in my pocket but you cant tell its a gun, so I'm ok with it.
Still haven't got to pick up any good defense ammo for it thanks to the panic buyers, and I can tell already I'm going to upgrade to the xs sight (they were out of xs models).

Got one no issue and the sight in low light is top notch.

RUGER LCR Club

Painted my site until I get the xs!
It almost looks like it, but my finger is NOT on the trigger, only wrapped around the frame.
