I Want to Buy Something at Year End......Help Me Out

Okay, I want to get myself something at year end.......but what? I have a Remington 870 shotgun, glock 21-30-36 and Ruger LCR and LCP.

I don't hunt, so I don't think I would use something like an AR-15 ever.

Should I get something, or do I have enough..... forever?

You all know so much, a little of your thoughts would be nice.

    Thanks again.

buy ammo if you feel your defensive needs are already covered

I had an urge to "panic buy" myself. If you are happy with your gun selection I would reccomend looking into redoading equipment. I forsee ammo being resricted and MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than it is now due to those restrictions. I just purchased a Lee press and 15,000 FMJ to go with the other 15,000 FMJ I have in the safe. You can reload for 0.10 to 0.15 cents a bullet and save 50 to 60 percent on factory ammo, I can see the price of ammo doubleing within the next few months though. I that happens those bullets I bought at .10 cents each will be a real bargain. Either way can't go wrong with buying to bulk to reload. Get it while you can.

    Ammo

I would second the ammo suggestion. It keeps forever and tends to go up in value.

Lots of guys are buying ARs for future speculative sales. I do not condone this, but they are.

Ammo and mags. Lots of mags.

And you don't use AR's for hunting... don't you watch the news?

I don't hunt much anymore but a rifle is just plain fun to shoot. There is a certain satisfaction to busting clay pigeons at 300 yards or more with a long gun...

An AK is just damn fun to shoot and cheap ammo. How about an Sks to mess around with? Otherwise, like said already, ammo.

What caliber is your LCR? How about a lever action in 357 or 44 magnum? The hole in your arsenal is something good for 100 yd perimeter defense.

I would buy a high quality rifle in .22 Rimfire and some bulk packs of .22 LR ammunition.

ARs good for HD, and SHTF out to 300-500 yards, depending on your ability. AR in 223 aren't usually used for hunting

If you have the urge for something, but don't feel you have a need for something in particular, I'd second getting a 22. Either in handgun or rifle for just general plinking purposes.
