    Look what followed me home

I found this beast in a local funshop.

Ruger 4" 357 Police Service Six born in 1975. It spent the last 30 years in a leather holster, and it shows it. It is tight, and a little cleaning made a big difference. The action is smooth for a Ruger and fairly light for a Ruger but not quite as nice as my Smiths. I plan on this being my new carry gun. Similar to Gman picking the 1911 as his gun I have chosen the 357 magnum Revolver as mine. I carried K and L Frame Smiths for years and this feels like a K frame, same holster, same speedloader.

I will still carry the Glocks at work, and the baby Glock for summer carry. I will reserve my G31 C as "In case of war break glass". I doubt I can go shoot it today as today is my 29th wedding anniversary.........

That is a great firearm. Built strong. I had one way back when. Congrats.

    Nice.

Love the Ruger Six series guns. Have a 2.75" Speed Six and 2.75" Security Six. Quality built guns that can take a beating and come back for more.

Attaboy Bob. Don't freeze your rocks off up there in the far north and I'll see you in the spring. Got rid of my G23 and picked up the Gen 4 Model 26. I'm in love once more. Planning to shoot the Classifier again at the end of January and move up to Expert in SSP. Hoping you and Jim will wish me luck. Still can't believe he made Master with that old G27!!!

You should be happy and even happier when you get to shoot it. I wish it were mine. Enjoy.
