Well, Santa didn't get my entire list right this year. I was hoping that I could bring home an sr1911 designed specifically for ccw. So, ruger if you are listening, maybe for the 4th of July you could come up with a version of your 1911 that is CCO sized and with an ambi safety. Anyone else want to see this happen?
Hello, I've been carrying the SR1911 in a crossbreed super tuck. I haven't had any problem with the weight. The holster distributes the weight evenly. Before this one, i was carrying the sr40c in a crossbreed super tuck also. I prefer the SR1911 for everyday carry.
Have a great New Year! !
I keep trying to convince myself that a full sized 1911 is only 1/4" longer than my sp101 3" but I hold one and it just seems so much bigger. I think it is the grip. Hence a CCO would be perfect for me.
I have the SR1911 and it is onE of my favorite 1911s. I having my GS do some modification on it next week. If Ruger comes out with a smaller version I will be all over it if I can FIND ONE!
Ruger is so busy keeping up with current orders I can't fathom them coming out with another model right now.
At one with the gun.
I don't see much hope in many of the new intro's making it with the madness going on right now. There is such a vacuum right now that they will be hard pressed just to produce what is on order, let alone gear up for something new.
