For sometime I have had to relegate my 1911's that I have carried for thirty years to competition shooting only because of back problems. I recently started a new type therapy and, with a third injection, 1911 carry of a lightweight model is again a viable option. I am carrying a Colt New Agent in a speed scabbard and may try going back to my Colt LW Government Model some of the time. I will still put my Colt Agent revolver in my front pocket when anything larger won't do. This New Agent is my third short barrel Colt and all have been totally reliable. The current one has about 1500 rounds through it now with 500 of those in one range session without the first hiccup.
I sometimes carry my SIG C3 around the house and on the farm, in fact I'm packing it as I type this, but my all time most carried gun is a Glock 26. I carried the Glock 26 earlier in the day, but just wanted a change so I got out the SIG C3. It's my only 'real' 1911. That might change for the summer when I get a good holster for the XDs.

I carry my full size springfield 1911 daily
Wow. I did not know that there was anything else to carry. LOL
I Love Guns!!!
Definitely a good carry choice. I have 3 semi-autos to choose from and a SIG 1911 Compact RCS is one of them.
