Question: I just got a gun with a black matte appearance. I think it needs cleaning. Does anyone know if there is a polish, protectant that works great on guns which are blued, or have a non reflective finish?
Also wonder what works great on polymers. First time I have had a gun like this in a while. I am used to Stainless.
All ideas are appreciated.

Well I imagine protection is of most importance, aesthetics second.
I think you might well try ''Boeshield'' which leaves a sorta thin wax film and will improve luster etc on blued and other black type finishes. Some folks even use straight Carnauba wax.
That said - while not as persistent - a good wipe over with a CLP impregnated cloth is quick and easy and will do well if repeated when needed.
Don't overdo treatments on polymer in case any silicones in them and then some slipperiness might be noticed.
