    Hi Dave

Well I can actually only speak for my SW99C (it is really just another Walther P99C if truth known) - but have to say I was thrilled after buying it - used - and somewhat on a whim. It is so darned accurate and pleasant to shoot.

It has proved to be a stellar shooter (9mm) and if I do need to downsize from my 226 SIG, this fella does just great. I do actually use mostly the mags with pinkie extension - these pics have the std mag floorplate.

Only initial concerns were ergonomics - mag release and decocker are positioned very strangely to the new shooter of this gun but - some familiarization soon took care of that. Oh and - for me, I find the largest palm swell fitting works best.

Very nice photos! Which trigger (AS/QA/DAO) do you have? How is it?

The P7M8 will be the last gun I get rid of. But sometimes I could use something a little smaller and lighter.

Dave - mine is AS trigger - so pretty much a regular DA/SA type gun and fits in nicely with my SIG routine. Just the ergonomics difference.

In use I find the DA travel very acceptable for feel.

Similar guns - both are good

These two subcompact 9mms are very similar in size, weight and ergonomics. Both have good reputations for reliability. I don't own either one, but would trust them based on experience with the larger guns of these brands and models.

I have handled the P2000sk and it is a beautifully engineered and manufactured gun, amounting to an evolutionary improvement on the successful H&K USP line of handguns. I would tend to favor this, although I would like to examine and shoot the small Walther.
