Glock 19 Gen 3 and Glock 26 Gen 4
Well because of the shortage of Glock 19 Gen 4s around I bit the bullet and bought the 19 Gen 3 instead. But I was still able to get the 26 in Gen 4. I got a great deal in them and can't wait to try them out. I hope I made the right choice on the 19. But with such a hard time in trying to find one and not knowing how long the wait would be I couldn't stand it anymore. Happy Nee Year to you all and thanks for all the advice.

If you can. Scoff up any Hi-Cap mags for your pistols now.
If you wish for peace, prepare for war.

I have Gen 3 in both! Learn to run em and I don't think you will have any regrets...As someone else said, pick up som extra mags along the way...I'd recommend stick with Glock mags, but that's just my opinion...Enjoy your purchases and train Train TRAIN!!!!
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

So...what you're saying.....you gave in to some hype?
Like a wagon train waiting to cross the Mississippi in hopes of gold in California. Look how many died in the attempt, and look at what became of California. Just saying.

No hype just didn't have one and the shop owner was pretty sceptical about when he would get another. I decided to jump on it before my wife changed her mind.

You'll love the 19. I had one and stupidly traded for a G26. Decided it concealed nearly the same and traded back for my 19. I'm happy again.

Geez, the guy bought what HE wanted and you had to just burst his bubble.
Congrats OP! Enjoy your purchases! You know, the ones you decided on, that you bought with YOUR hard earned money. Not everyone will agree with your purchase, but, the only opinion that matters is YOURS.
I get sooooo tired of that 'mine is better than yours' crap. The only thing worse is a caliber war.

I had a G-26 for10 years and traded up to my first G-19. Loved it so much I bought a second with my GSSF discount the next year. I also have collected 30 mags for them in the last 3 years. Now is the time, maybe the last time, to get your Hi-Cap Mags if you can still find some.

It's all good. Just happy I got my hands on two Glocks that I will be able to hand down to my kids someday. That will be of course after I buy some new Glocks. HaHa. I can see that this may become an obsession for me kinda like goose calls and Spyderco knifes!

Recently got my first G19. I'm loving the size and the weight of the gun compared to the Sigs I used to carry. I think you made a wise choice.

I have a Glock 26, it shoots great but, I'm thinking hard about trading up to the Glock 19. Reason being, the G-26 doesn't fit my hand unless I use the 12 round magazine, and that little space between the magazine and grip wants to pinch me real hard shooting.
What's the factory magazine capacity on the Glock 19? Thanks.
I think, therefore I am...

You can get a +0 pinky extension from Pearce for your GLOCK 26 magazines. Or you can get some that also add capacity or they offer spacers to fit larger magazines. The capacity of a standard GLOCK 19 magazine is 15 in the parts of America without capacity restrictions.
