My son has an HP22 with both the long and short barrels. We have not had any feeding problems. Its a fun cheap plinker. One thing you need to know about them is they are rated for "Standard Velocity Ammo" only. To me that means No Hyper or even Hi Velocity ammo. And I would definitely get a 22 over a 25 cal. DR

Definitely 22LR. 25ACP is the worst cartridge out there.

.25 ACP won't even make good sinkers for a fishing line . .22lr hollow point is one of the most versitile rounds ever developed .

I have an Phoenix HP22 that I got used for $70 a few months back. No problems with jams, but it's a effing pain to take down and reassemble. Nevertheless, it's a good, cheap plinker. 22LR all the way.

I've had several 25 pistols over the years and the only one I thought was a nice pistol was a beretta with a tip up barrel. Can't remember what it was called but it was the only one that did not jam up. I think the beretta made a 22 just like it.

Not that I am likely to carry this weapon.. but
IMHO, this is the question to answer. If used for range fun, tin cans and paper zombies, then a .22 is hard to beat. But, if one is going to carry a .22 or .25 caliber, then the .25 win's every time.

I think you should irritate libs and get one of each.

22 lr because of the ease and price of ammo.
