    Then you haven't seen the Kimber Solo: L 5.5 x H 3.9 x W .99 (compared to P938 L5.9 x H 3.9 x W 1.1).

I have NO idea! I tried the Colt website where you can enter the serial number and the search came up empty. I emailed info@colt.com and twice got a message back that the address did not work. I was also on hold with Colt customer service for 30 minutes before finally giving up.

I'm fairly certain the Rohrbaugh R9 is smaller. There is a used one here for $900. Intriguing...but I passed.

Magnum Research Micro Desert Eagle .380. It's DAO, no polymer. It's a little heavy, but feeds, fires and ejects eerything I have fed it over the last couple of years. (Smaller than a Beretta Tomcat .32, or a Taurus PT-22). It will slide-bite me a little in rapid fire, but in a real situation, who would care............

If I can slip it into a coat pocket, I like to be able to fire it from within the pocket, if necessary, repeatedly. This makes for an awesome "no you didn't get 'the drop' on me... I got the drop on YOU" gun.

So... for coat pocket carry - it's either the 642 in .38spl or the 640 in .357 for me.
