I have an LCP but it's my P938 Nightmare by far.
S&W 642 airweight in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster. Hardly know it's there most of the time.
Dropped a 442 in my pocket at the LGS the other day while picking up a Walther PPS - can't imagine a better pocket carry option. Light, dead nuts reliable, and I'd trust the venerable .38 over any of the .380 mouse guns that are so popular today. OMO, YMMV.
I have a pm9.
It's reliable and not bad to shoot. But the other day I was eyeing a 380 body guard. Anyone have any experience with it?

For IWB carry it will be either a Bersa Thunder 380, Bersa UC 45 pro or a CZ 75B. For pocket carry, I always have a NAA Pug 22 Mag either in my front pocket or the change pocket of a pair of blue jeans. I carried an LCP for quite a while. Very dependable, but I never liked shooting it.

You will need to consider both size...and weight.
Micro .380s like the LCP are the ultimate "all the time" pocket guns due to their small size and light weight. They will fit into any men's pockets that I have ever seen.
Small 9mm pistols like the PM9/CM9 and others can suffer from finicky operation. They are also on the edge of the weight limit for comfortable pocket carry, IMHO.
Stepping off the "Pocket 9mm" Merry-Go-Round...Hello revolver!
Light weight revolvers like the J frame and the Ruger LCR are generally very, very reliable, and weigh less than the pocket 9mm pistols. They are larger overall, however. This issue can be easily remedied by some judicious tailoring, in order to deepen your pocket if need be.
I dual pocket carry most days - Ruger LCR as primary on the right, and Ruger LCP as secondary on the left.
Note that some pants (like Dockers) have pockets that will take a baby Glock - but the weight can get annoying after a while.
Hope this helps.

For those times I'm pocket carrying, I've used a NAA Guardian in .380, or my Colt Agent.
Smith & Wesson 642. It has a big following.

Ive had my p-32 before all the other micro pocket pistols came to be. So I like my p-32 for pocket carry.
