What is your favorite "pocket" pistol?
I plan on getting my CCW permit next year and will be pocket carrying the majority of the time. I will also have the option to IWB carry but I am undecided on that between the g26, shield or others. But the majority of the time I will be pocket carrying. What, in your opinion, is the BEST pocket carry gun in terms of comfort, reliability, and stopping power? The LCP seems to be the most popular, along with the J-frame revolver although the j-frame is a little bulky. The LC9/PM9 seem to be too big for practical pocket carry. Is there an "ultimate" pocket carry gun?
Hope you are all having a great new year. Take care everyone.

There are several good ones to choose from, but I prefer the Kahr P380. It's easy and comfortable to shoot for such a small gun, and doesn't compromise on features.

Sig P238 and Sig P938 are the only pocket pistols I own. I love them both.

Sig P938
A very close second is the Springfield XD-S (need a larger pocket).

The PM9 and the Kimber Solo are almost identical in size and are BOTH smaller than the LC9.
IMO, they are all three very easily concealable via pocket carry. My Solo (one of my favorite shooting guns)
disappears in my front pants pocket, within my Desantis Superfly holster.
You would be very satisfied with any of these three guns.

If you can find one (I can't), a SIG 938 SAS looks like the penultimate pocket gun to me. 6+1 9mm, flat, good night sights, melted, all you could ask, although there are many who do not like the idea of cocked and locked in a pocket.
Or, a SIG 238 SAS. Same thing, slightly smaller, just in 380.

loaded question... your pockets may be different sizes than mine.. my tolerance of recoil is low due to multiple wrist injuries in my shooting arm.. you may have awesome burly wrists with hands like clamps and can handle a snub nose 2.5" 44mag +p+ with built in grenade launcher...
point is, there are at least a good dozen or so pocket sized pistols from 32acp-45acp that work great for a lot of people.. youre going to have to try to narrow down your choices, perhaps to what was recommended here, then go shoot each and see how it feels, see what the accessories and holsters and the ammo are like for the ones you want...
carry firearms are like underwear... more personal preference on the fit than what cool pattern is on the outside.

I would say LCP but I already have a Walther PPK so that is my favorite.

Forgot to mention...
If you get the Sig P938 get a couple of 7 round mags. It changes the whole feel of the gun...in a good way.
