I got a Visa gift card for Christmas and all of this writing electronic letters to our Gubmint officials regarding our 2A rights inspired me to purchase my Christmas present today. I went in my LGS and they had EXACTLY what I've been wanting (and looking at online). And it was darn well reasonably priced too.
Springfield XDm-9 4.5" bbl in OD Green frame and black slide. Came with two 19 round mags and the box full of crap. Picked up a couple boxes of Hornaday Critical Duty 135gr while I was there. Hope to take it to the range tomorrow. They also have a stainless Remington 1911 for a great price I might have to get tomorrow.
