for a carry 1911, I don't think you can beat the LW Champ Operator. I picked one up about three years ago and have yet to find another
that I like better....even for a lot more money.

    Nice addition. Congrats.

    Nice gun!

Gotta love the Lightweight Commander platform, regardless of the manufacturer. I've got a brand 'K' and I just love the way it carries. Just a tad more muzzle flip, but that's not an issue.

I carried a lightweight Talon II Nighthawk for a while a few years back. Definitely make great carry guns. I'm back to full size, steel 1911's, but I still appreciate the lightweights.

I carry a Stainless Steel Combat Commander XSE every day w/2 spare 8 round mags,There may be guns that start out lighter until you get a double stack mag of ammo on board, but theres something about a 1911 that is just seeeeexxxxxy

Nice looking gun. I carried a Loaded Champion until I got my DW CBOB. Loved it once I got it back from SA. It would not feed JHP ammo. They throated the chamber and tuned the extractor and she ran like a top. So make sure you wring it out good with JHP ammo before you deem her good for defensive carry.
