I have about 300 trouble free rounds through my XDS. It has digested every factory or handload I have tried including my 200gr SWC bullets.
I have the 7rd magazine also and have had zero problems with it.
I have learned to wear a pair of Mechanix type gloves when I am doing a lot of shooting at the range with the XDS as it is a little rough on the hands even though the recoil is not bad.
I always finish up with a few magazines of my defensive loads (Federal HST) without gloves as that is how I would expect to have to use the gun in a defensive situation.
Sights, trigger pull and everything else are pretty nice too. Inside is "glocklike" rather than SA.

Frank, if you prefer to wear gloves when shooting this, I would recommend looking at Talon Grips http://talongungrips.com/Talon-Grips...e-XDRubber.htm (I have nothing to do with the company, just a satisfied customer).
I have the rubber ones for my Kahr CM9 and it makes it so much more comfortable to shoot, easier to grab and easier to hold onto than the semi-slick frame grips. They also have sandpaper grips if you are worried about sweaty hands down there in GA.
