Won a gun raffle and had my choice of a number of choices. Chose the XDs. Can't wait to get to the range after the wait period.
This gives me a dilemma. I carry an LC9 but shoot a XD for competition. I do like the trigger on my XD.
The range will be the deciding factor

Congratulations! I love my XD-s, you won't be disappointed. I'd say the trigger reset is even better than my XD9.

I have a couple of XD 40s that I had to pay for. Love them. Of course, if I had won something else I could be convinced to love a free gun
Love mine... Didn't go for 7 round mags, some have had issues with the reliability of the 7 rounders (look at XD Talk Forum XDs discussion room) you'll see what I mean.
I have 1000 plus round thru mine, with 5 round mags and Pearce Grip extensions. Made the gun easy to control.
This is worse than a kid on Christmas Eve. I am pretty excited to try it out

Congrats. the XDS is a nice little piece .. I have about 1k thru mine and its been great so far. Matter of fact all my XD and XDM's have run with no problems.
