Yeaaah, but the idea of (gulp!) FRENCH grips on my SP101 kinda' gives me the woolies. Like trading in my Porsche for a Renault or something. I think I'd rather play naked kick-the-hornets'-nest. :biggrin2:
These are not bad for compact grips. No problems shooting .357's with them. Badger Custom Grips
I have eagle wood grips on my 3in sp101 357. They do not grab on clothing.
I got the Hogue Mono grip in today. Ordered the Mono grip in nylon as some of my other carry pistols have rubber Hogue grips and if my cover garment doesn't adhere to it, lint certainly does! Anyway, had the Hogue grips on in about 5 minutes and immediately found them to be much more comfortable than the stock grips. The stock grips just did not let my little finger fit without discomfort and overall, I found the stock grips small. MUCH more comfortable feeling with the Hogue grips.
Those look nice Jay. Are they firmer than the sticky monogrip?
I use Pachmayr Compac grips on my SP-101 and carry it in a Side Guard Quick Clip holster. :hand10:
Gold Dots in 125 gr. .357 is my carry load of choice so the grips are real important in recoil control and followup shots.
No problems with the grip material catching on the cover shirt. I always wear an undershirt of some sort to keep the gun away from my skin. :yup:

I've had the Badgers and Eagle grips. But keep going back to the factory grips with stag inserts.
Grips are a personal choice so you will have to try a few. Try looking for used ones to keep the cost down. Anyway, I found that my skin got torn up from the holster and grips regardless of what I did so I just always wear an under shirt. So don't rule that out just yet.
Here is mine in some ironwood hogues I bought from a freind.
