You have to watch these guys to see when they offer something you want, they don't seem to keep a large inventory on hand. Let's see if I get this right, the SP101 grips came from the gunbroker guy, a set of boot grips for S&W36 came from the ebay guy. Both are in Thailand.
They're not as detail finished as someone like Eagle grips would be but then they're half the price too. I'm happy with them.

Another Pachmayr Compac grip user. I switched from the factory, to Hogue, then to the Pachmayr. By far the wood grips like Badgers are good looking and will not catch on your clothes.

I am looking into CT laser grips for my sp101. I am wondering how they compare length and width wise to the stock grips.

One of my carry guns is my 327 SP101 wearing Hogue rubber grips in a Garrett Silent Thunder IWB.
I have never had a problem with it printing as my holster keeps it tight against my side, and I have found that wearing another t-shirt as a barrier garment is something I prefer when wearing any of my holsters.

I use the Crimson Trace grips. You can see them in this picture.

Question for those of you with the wood grips. How's the recoil feel as compared to the rubber ?
I have the stock Tamer grips on my LCR .38Sp and could shoot it all day at the range. The wood
grips look great but I wouldn't want to sacrifice comfort for looks. Okay, don't start, comfort don't
matter if the need arises, you ain't gonna feel it anyway.

I like the Tamer grips on my KLCR, but always go with the Hogue grip for any SP-101 I buy.

Only wish the Tamer was a big as the SP-101 grip.

Good luck! The SP101 is my edc.:

Everything mjeffa said plus the grip allows a higher hand hold on the pistol, lowering the barrel axis. This really does a great job of taming the beast when it's eating full power magnum loads... It makes follow up shots easier to control.

The stock grips just did not let my little finger fit without discomfort and overall, I found the stock grips small. MUCH more comfortable feeling with the Hogue grips.

I have the rubber versions..very happy with them. I didn't realize they made an exact version in nylon.
