Older NM Serial number Mil-spec rework. I was just asked to keep it retro looking and this is what I came up with.

Tighten frame to slide and lapped.
Light de-horn job
removed factory machining marks
C&S sear
Harrison Designs Retro hammer, slide stop & rear sight
Fit new EGW barrel bushing and bevel to plug
Flush & crown barrel
New Wilson barrel link
Cut fit & blend SDM gold bead front sight
New Medium Greider trigger
Action job set at 4lbs
New Ed Brown MSH
Rogers Precision serrated front strap & MSH
High undercut
Round butt
Modified & re-profiled grip safety
re-profiled thumb safety to follow the frame line
New Wolff Springs
Finished in Armorers Black Cerakote

We've gotta' talk, 'cause that SDM Gold Bead front sight sure would look good on my own "Perfect Carry Gun". Is its height measured from the top or the bottom of its base? Whew! That's one fine lookin' fight-gun you've built there. Well done! :35:

I love stealth elegance. Nice little appointments that is elusive to all but the trained eye.

That is a pistol I would be proud to own and carry.

Could you be so kind as to shoot me a PM with a "ballpark" price for similar work on a well used but functionally sound Colt Officer's model?
